- If you underwent different abdominal surgeries previously, laparoscopic gallbladder removal might not be suitable for you because of the scar tissue that’s developed on the site of the procedure
- There are no widespread adhesions in your abdomen: this is important because for laparoscopy your abdomen must be fully permeable
- If you have gallstones and a gallbladder inflammation at the same time open surgery is the right option because the problem’s complexity
- Your average health must be good enough to undergo laparoscopy
